Five local families are finalists to have the 'extreme team' literally rebuild their home. In the next month, ABC will decide which family will get an Extreme Makeover.

Families down on their luck have had their lives changed forever when ABC and the extreme team build them a new home. ABC has helped families from all 50 states, including the Hassall family from Sunrise, Kentucky back in 2006. Extreme Makeover Home Edition airs on Channel 9, Sundays at 8 p.m.
